When I first chatted with Mette, she told me about her and Andrew’s vision for their wedding day…small and intimate, in Andrew’s parent’s backyard-my favorite setting, so I was immediately into it. She talked about how Andrew’s mom is an amazing gardener and has done everything herself, which I also couldn’t wait to see. You can try and picture it, and prepare yourself that it will be pretty, but when we arrived to his house after some photos at Mette’s childhood home and local park, I was floored. It felt like I stepped into a dream, and I couldn’t believe it was real! So much time and love poured into the space, including a field of wildflowers that would be the backdrop to their vows. On top of the beautiful setting, I should probably mention the couple 😉 Mette + Andrew were simply incredible, whose love for one another was so genuine and sweet. Being part of this day with them and for them, along with their incredible friends and family was such an honor, and I will carry this day with me for a long long time! These are the days when it’s such a sweet reminder of why I love what I do!
