I met Rachel at the end of 2019, and I knew we were destined to work together. Our coffee date felt like old friends meeting, and with her impeccable style and taste-I had a feeling her and Ben’s wedding day would be beautiful. Welp, I was dead wrong because beautiful isn’t a strong enough word to describe their day!! While plans changed from Pinewood to her parents backyard, it was truly such a charming and breathtaking setting. Kindred Blooms did an amazing job with the floral design and reception setting under the tent…I couldn’t stop taking photos and thinking about how this will be a dinner and setting they will never forget. Rachel wore a beautiful BHLDN dress, and they were surrounded by their immediate family as they said, “I do.” I realize so many couples had to decrease their guest list this last year, and shift their original vision to something more small and intimate-which I have personally loved photographing, but understand those decisions haven’t been easy. I’ve always considered it a high honor to photograph these days, but especially in 2020-when friends and family were unable to attend these monumental events, but little ol me was there, and I will never take it for granted! So thankful Rachel and Ben chose me to be part of their day.
