It’s hard to know where to begin when reflecting back on 2020…it goes without saying it was a hard year, but I also want to be able to reflect on the positive impact from all the changes it brought. While a lot of people made the shift to working from home, I honestly felt like my job didn’t change TOO much. With the major exception of weddings being postponed and/or cancelled, I still felt connected with my job, and in a year where my business could have ended, you all showed up and made it my biggest year yet. I am so grateful to all the couples and families who still chose to have me take photos for you and your loved ones-whether it was a small ceremony and reception, or a session with your family-I loved every minute of it. I don’t take what I do lightly or for granted, and in a year of major loss, it’s such an honor that you thought to include me to capture it along the way. We’ll never forget 2020, and it’s a unique ability to be able to say I documented a major year for so many families to look back on and remember. Babies continued to be born, and families bonded in new ways that will be unforgettable-to say thank you to you all feels so little, but I hope you know from the bottom of my heart how much I love connecting with you all, and photographing these incredible life moments for you!! Here’s to another amazing year!!
